Jess Mund, L.Ac.

Jess is an acupuncturist and herbalist licensed in the state of North Carolina. She earned her Master’s at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville. She is nationally board certified (NCCAOM) in Oriental Medicine. Jess practiced at Asheville Community Acupuncture from 2009-2020. She joined the faculty at Daoist Traditions College in 2020 teaching Herbal Medicine.

 

Jess enjoys working with all types of people and conditions but has a particular affinity for treating allergies, anxiety, stress and women’s health (including fertility, pregnancy & postpartum), thyroid and adrenal imbalances as well as autoimmune disorders. Her needling technique (most similar to Japanese style) is very gentle and is excellent for children and clients new to acupuncture. 

 

Jess is also co-director of the Temple of the Open Heart, a non-profit hub in Swannanoa for sacred gathering and spiritual community. TOTOH is a collective of spiritual seekers striving for positive evolution through personal and planetary healing.
